It was a good winter... but not our one!
This season the team only ran about 1000 km. As we got to know that is too less to participate in Scandinavian middistance races. So we had a lack of training that we couldn’t compensate.
The snow we had in December and January was not good for our training situation because we can’t go with the sled here at home. After the snow the ice came and made it worse.
In the middle of December we had a training accident so that we had to fight against mental problems too. After we put all dogs in the team the gangline ripped and the team was away. A situation we wish no one! All in all nothing serious happened but for Peppi the season was over because of a insistent shoulder injury.
